Its a bit smaller than i expected, which in a way is a good thing since i didnt really want a big bulky pen case. The 3 compartments are nice for sorting out your writing instruments. i can easily fit 3-4 pens in each compartment and it seems theres still room for a little more. The only drawback is the length, its a bit short for my fine liners that i use for underlining or circling important notes when i study. Sadly they wont fit in the case but that doesnt change the fact that this is a very good, well made pen case.
