This pencil is a good surprise to me, I highly recommend it. There are 3 main features: 1. retractable tip (works smoothly) 2. lead is spring cushioned (still very rigid, not wobble) 3. anti slippery grip (very comfortable) Things it doesn't have that don't bother me (might bother you): 1. clip (I use pen case all the time) 2. thin drafting style lead guard (not a must-have for me)
